Brief Bio:
I participate in a family where I play the roles of father and husband (and the other obvious ones). My wife (Kayo), son (Shea), dogs (Oscar and Scotus), and I live just outside of Chicago. As a source of fun (and income) I teach philosophy at a few local colleges (being that I'm just an adjunct at this point). The pic is of Shea and me on a train station platform in Osaka, Japan.

I spend a lot of my time playing golf and developing my hacking skills. I've recently acquired an interest in open source software, especially the operating system OpenBSD.
