Welcome to my webpage! As the URL indicates, my name is Neal Hogan. I'm a proud father of two, Sheamus and Owen, husband of one, Kayo, and "master" of two, Oscar and Scotus. This site is a vain endevour to advocate for me and my interests. Those interests include golf, hacking, and philosophy. I grew up in Northeast Ohio; Youngstown, to be more specific. I'm the son of Terry and Mary Lou Hogan and brother to three younger siblings, Mark, Kevin, and Eileen. Soccer was my main time occupier until my second year of college, when I finally felt that something else should occupy the majority of my life (what it was, I was unsure, but I knew it had to be something else). Speaking of college, I started at the College of Wooster, a small private school, which was nice, but . . . Eventually, I finished my BA at Youngstown State University with a double major in philosophy and psychology. Then the University of Cincinnati educated me further and awarded me a MA in philosophy. I started my dissertation, but have yet to finish it. It's on the back-burner for now, but I haven't forgotten about it.
